Best Western Port Clinton

Nice location, close to the main strip of Port Clinton, and right across the street from Jolly Roger's (you HAVE to get a perch or walleye sandwich when you're here - fresh from lake Erie) The room was clean and the service was great. The breakfast was simple and there's no indoor pool or anything, but it's worth the price

Short staffed like everyone else but the staff was nice and pleasant. The bed in our room was broke down on one side and the room smelled musty but it was clean. Breakfast was good.

My husband and I stayed here with our dog for a few days. Room was very clean and had what we needed for the few day stay. Breakfast- variety of food and drinks options. What i got (eggs and sausage) very good and fresh , same with coffee. Overall, not bad at all. I recommend. Though only negative- which is not the hotels fault, just lazy pet owners not picking up after their dog. There was alot of dog shit everywhere , which was disgusting, so watch your step around the hotel.

I stop here for an night because of weather but that not the point. The lady that checked me in was very nice to me and pointed out multiple nice places to eat for the night. The reason why I am giving it an 4 Star is because the room was just an room not the best that I have stayed in but not the worst. But other then that it an great place to spend the night at.

We knew we were going to visit port Clinton, where we were staying was the issue. We wanted to take a family trip with our family furry Lab. We searched and searched and called dozens of places.. many said animal friendly and had weight limit or a huge fee. I called Best Western and customer service rep was super friendly over the phone and knowledgeable about the area.. they are pet friendly and had no fees . They did state a weight limit of 80lbs. Our pup is right under that. I checked in and asked if the lady behind the counter was the one I spoke with and it wasn't , I got very worried about another person telling me what I wanted to hear to get the reservation. So I confirmed everything again and she was just as helpful and friendly as the lady at the customer service department. No hidden fees for pets and a clean room. Perfect stay for a short family trip. I'll definitely be back there again for a more extended stay. Such a great place and a beautiful scenic part of Ohio .

Alicia, the Desk Check in Attendent was Amazing!!! It was late when we arrived, she greeted us with her award winning smile! She was very courteous, knowledgeable and had a great personality! She explained all the amenities and directed us to our room with special instructions to let us know we can drive right up to our door! We loved that option!!! She deserves a raise for her kindness and diligence to her job!! Also the housekeeping was Amazing. In the last 14 years, I've travelled out West, and up and down the East Coast and our room was the most immaculate ever! We didn't find one strand of hair, one piece of lint that was out of place! I was compelled to leave a generous tip with a note, telling them as much! Also I am so glad that President Donald J Trump passed the no taxes on tips, because it is for the hard working people, such as your housekeeping staff that deserve it! I felt my tip went a long way!!!! I would definately reccomend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area based on our experience!!

Absolutely the best staff. Devon went out of her way to accommodate me and my family on a very difficult day. Beautifully located across the street from the lake. Conveniently located to a dollar tree, a Napa, and multiple restaurants. And don’t forget about the light house walking distance from hotel. The pool was beautiful and my dog was welcomed. Great free breakfast with hot foods and other typical breakfast foods. I will only be staying here when in the area from now on.

Everyone was super friendly deff check hotel prices first before using another one! Found out it would have been cheaper to check hotel first! So happy to find this out! Everyone was super friendly and nice very helpful! Pool was open and kids were able to swim! Saw lot of people with pet so deff pet friendly! Lake was right across the street and a public beach was 3 min down the street! Yes you can’t see the beach very well from hotel but same time it is so close to everything! So no complaints from this family! Thank you to the staff for making our stay great!
